What does Kling 4.0 change for video creators?
Kling 4.0 extends the generation ceiling from 15 seconds in Kling 3.0 Omni to 30 seconds in one pass. It also adds up to 10 keyframe inputs, giving creators more points to plan through a sequence than opening and ending frames alone.
Kuaishou's launch announcement describes Kling 4.0 as a new model generation. The company highlights motion, camera control and reference workflows. These are company claims about the product. POPR has not measured them in a controlled comparison.
Are keyframes and references all available together?
Kling's guide presents Keyframes and Omni Reference as separate creation choices. Keyframes use images to mark moments through a video timeline. Omni Reference accepts a broader set of visual and audio inputs, with a cap of 15 combined assets per task. The guide lists ceilings for images, videos, elements and voice profiles, and those category limits are not additive.
Creators should check the current interface before planning a shot that depends on the maximum keyframe and reference counts at once. Every generated result still needs review.

Kling lists 4K output in both the 3.0 and 4.0 materials. Its current guide marks 10-bit HDR and video extension toward two minutes as coming soon. The public materials reviewed for this report do not set one universal Kling-platform credit cost for a 4.0 generation.
POPR founder Josephe “Pop” Buchanan confirms personal use of Kling 4.0. This is founder-reported experience. POPR has not completed a side-by-side study of whether 4.0 changes continuity, retries or cost per usable shot.
