POPR Newsroom
About POPR Newsroom
POPR Newsroom is published by POPR Technologies Inc. — a mathematical IP, publishing, and product company founded by Josephe "Pop" Buchanan and headquartered in Manhattan, NY. POPR stands for Predictive Operating Program Registry, the founding name behind the company and all of its properties. We exist to report verified, evidence-based information on science, technology, health and business, built from a standing editorial doctrine we call Truth Over Reassurance: no claim outpaces the evidence behind it, and nothing is presented as confirmed until it has been independently checked.
We are a commercial publication. POPR Technologies also publishes books and tools under related brands, and we tell you plainly, on every page where it is relevant, when a POPR product is being referenced, so you always know when you are reading independent reporting versus when you are looking at something POPR owns.
When we refer to "POPR" anywhere on this site, in our reporting, or across our products, we mean POPR Technologies Inc. and its affiliated properties: POPR Newsroom, POPR Books, and POPR Tools.
Founder and Editorial Lead
Josephe Buchanan is the Founder, Chief Writer and Editor of POPR Newsroom. Josephe Buchanan is the government name and the name under which POPR Technologies Inc. operates. POP Buchanan is the author name. Both names refer to the same person and the same editorial voice. All published work on POPR Newsroom is produced under the direct editorial responsibility of Josephe Buchanan.
What We Publish
Every substantive article on POPR Newsroom originates from a Verified Research Record: a source-backed research foundation that exists before the article is written. Reports cover technology, artificial intelligence, recovery science, health research, consumer intelligence, business and publishing.
We organize our work into research desks. Each desk focuses on a domain. The desks are not marketing categories; they reflect the areas where we have built research capacity. New desks are added only when real content justifies them.
Our Standard
Every factual claim in a POPR Newsroom report is checked against a primary source, a peer-reviewed study, an official filing, a government record, or direct documentation, before it is presented as established. Where a claim cannot be independently verified, we say so plainly in the article itself, not only in an internal record.
We classify evidence honestly and visibly. A claim is confirmed when independent evidence establishes it. It is a verified statement when we have confirmed someone said something, without that alone proving the thing itself is true. It is plausible or candidate when real, coherent reasoning supports it without full independent confirmation yet. It is rejected when the evidence directly contradicts it. These distinctions appear in our reporting itself, not only in an internal process document.
Provenance
Every published report carries a visible provenance block: research desk byline, a unique research record identifier, a publication date and a last-verified date. Where our research began with a public figure's own work, a scientist's publicly stated research, a founder's own account of their process, or an expert's public commentary, we say so directly and credit them by name in the provenance line, in the article's opening, and in our citations. We do not present independently verified research as though POPR discovered it first when a named expert's public work is what sent us looking.
What We Are Not
This is not a blog. It is not a news aggregator. It is not a content marketing operation. We do not publish opinion without a research basis. We do not generate content from prompts alone. We do not publish reports that lack a Verified Research Record behind them.
A Note on Our Name
